SLV – Research Use Only (RUO)
SLV is a synthetic tripeptide representing the C-terminal sequence of the Fas receptor (CD95). In biochemical and molecular research environments, SLV is studied for its ability to selectively block the interaction between Fas and Fas-associated phosphatase-1 (FAP-1), a protein–protein interaction of interest in apoptosis-related signaling research.
In laboratory research settings, SLV is utilized to investigate protein–protein interaction dynamics, receptor-associated signaling modulation, and intracellular molecular pathway analysis under controlled experimental conditions. Its short, well-defined peptide structure makes it suitable for in vitro assays, mechanistic studies, and analytical characterization focused on Fas-related signaling complexes.
SLV is commonly incorporated into research frameworks examining death receptor signaling, intracellular regulatory mechanisms, and peptide-based interaction inhibitors. All handling and experimentation should be conducted by qualified professionals within properly equipped research facilities and in accordance with applicable research standards.
